After an intensive country wide vote, we are pleased to announce that Toh "katsucurry" Jin Shuen & Bryan "Crumpled" Ong from our Hearthstone division has been selected for the Hearthstone Global Games!
Hearthstone Global Games (HGG) is an official Blizzard tournament in which teams from selected nations compete against each other. Players from around the world decide who gets to be nominated onto the roster for their region's team. The top 8 teams will then be competing in the playoffs at BlizzCon 2018.
Samuel "Sequinox" Chan was the top Hearthstone Championship Tour (HCT) point earner for Season 1, thus he was automatically selected by Blizzard as the anchor of the Singapore team.
8 eligible participants were then shortlisted for the votes based on their HCT points for Season 1. Only 3 of the most popular players out of the pool of 8 players will make the cut and join the prestigious Singapore roster.
We are elated when the results of the polls were released to reveal that Bryan "Crumpled" Ong will be returning to the Singapore HGG roster along with the addition of Toh "katsucurry" Jin Shuen, the current highest HCT point earner in the country.
The fourth spot on the roster goes to fellow Singaporean "Khaius", an extremely friendly and hard working Hearthstone player.
We would like to thank the local Hearthstone community and all our supporters who have voted for our players to represent Singapore for the Hearthstone Global Games. We promise that we would do our best to work along with Khaius to achieve good results and live up to the faith placed in us.
The games begin on 17 July 2018 and you can follow us on our Facebook for more updates.
